About Mostly G&S

Mostly G&S was formed by Jill Morgan and John Lawes as a performing company dedicated to operetta, particularly the topsy-turvy world of Gilbert and Sullivan. It is based in Reading, Berkshire.

Rehearsals

Mostly G & S in rehearsal

We rehearse every Wednesday throughout most of the year, with breaks for holiday periods.

Rehearsal venue

Our rehearsal venue is Park United Reformed Church opposite Palmer Park in Reading. We meet in David’s Hall at 7.45pm and enjoy a cup of tea or coffee together before getting down to a straight 90 minutes of singing at 8.15pm.

Palmer Park’s larger free car park is a short walk away.
